Music with Miss De

Research suggests that music is learned similar to how language is learned. Young children need extensive amounts of language as well as to experiment with language before they actually learn to think, speak, read, or write a language. Similarly, children need to hear a wide variety of music and experiment with music as they can sing, move, and play musical instruments. At Maria Early Learning Center the students are given opportunities to experience music in a variety of ways allowing them to experiment with their voices and enjoy interaction with others as we play musical games. Music always put a smile on their faces and puts a song in their hearts. Ask your children to sing to you and then share your voice with them.  It is a joy to share music together at MELC.
